Modblast launches
On 18 December, Angels & Airwaves added a great new feature to their successful Modlife media website, allowing people to chat to members of the band themselves.
Modblast allows all members of Modlife (inluding basic members) to log in and chat, basically in a chat room style environment. But, the main difference between this and any other chat room is that the band each have their own unique username, and regularly sign in to casually chat with fans, and answer questions.
Modblast allows fans to casually chat with their heroes from AVA, and have their questions answered.
This is obviously a huge step forward in band to fan co-operation, and helps contribute to Modlife's vastly improving catalogue of activities. What next? An IM system apparentley, where each user gets their own unique IM address and gets to speak individually to each other - including the band.
So, www.modlife.com is the place to go: all you need to do is log-in to a basic or premium account and click on the Modblast prompt bar at the top of the screen.
Keep an eye out for the band members too - to make it all the more easier, their usernames are:
Atom (ATOM) - ORANGE
David (dk1) - GREEN
Tom (Cosmic) - RED
MATT (doctorwachter) - YELLOW
UK Tour dates confirmed!
On 17 December, Angels & Airwaves confirmed that they would be touring the UK. The tickets are now on sale at all good music ticket sites, and the dates are as follow:
Manchester, Academy – 10th April
Glasgow, Academy – 11th April
Birmingham, Academy – 12th April
Southampton, Guildhall – 14th April
Bristol, Academy – 15th April
London, Astoria - 16th April
